Little Scholars Academy is a new state of the art preschool conveniently located in Eatonton, Georgia. We are accredited by Georgia Accrediting Commission. We believe that learning should be a journey not a race. Therefore, we provide developmentally appropriate activities based on solid research that will foster a lifelong desire to explore and develop as an individual. The curriculum that we have chosen supports our school mission.

We offer a combination of Little Treasures/Treasures and Core Knowledge Curriculums to enhance our program. We incorporate teaching methodologies from the Reggio Emilia School in Italy. Additionally, we offer Spiritual Scholars, which is a faith based curriculum with concepts from First Look Orange Curriculum. These innovative curriculums are research-based, developmentally appropriate, and designed to address the needs and interests of all young children throughout the community. Since research shows that children learn best when they master educational skills through active learning experiences, we are so excited to offer a preschool program option that combines center based activities that are both teacher directed and child initiated.

Little Scholars Academy will also offer this comprehensive language based program as a foundation for developing strong early literacy skills which includes listening skills, phonemic awareness, vocabulary development and early literacy. At Little Scholars Academy we believe that children need a solid foundation in all of these areas in order to become strong readers and writers in the future. We plan IN THE FUTURE TO be able to also offer the state funded prekindergarten program within the next few years.

Since it takes a village to raise a child, we also plan on working with parents to provide them with informative workshop throughout the school year. Some of the anticipated topics are: Early Reading Programs, Language Development and Literacy, Math, Center-based instruction, Healthy Nutrition for Young Children.
